Recipe for Preparing Home-Made Tomato Sauce for Pizza, Pasta, and Other Italian Dishes

 

Tomato sauce for pizza

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 3 tomatoes, peeled and chopped

  • 1 large onion

  • 1 carrot

  • 2 stalks of celery

  • 5 cloves of crushed garlic

  • A bunch of fresh basil

  • ½ teaspoon sugar

  • 1 tsp olive oil salt

  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

 

Preparation Instructions:

 

Sauté the onion along with the celery, carrot and garlic in a pan over medium heat, add chopped tomatoes, cook for a few minutes and add the basil, the other spices, and the tomato paste. Cook over low heat for about an hour. Remove from heat.

Recipe for Home-made authentic Italian Pizza

Ingredients:

400 g pizza flour

1 cup tomato sauce

300 g grated cheese (yellow, mozzarella or Emmantel)

Toppings of your choice (mushrooms, olives, salted cheese, etc.)

 

Recipe:

 

Brush the edges with of the dough with olive oil, spread the sauce onto the base of the pan with the dough, spread the cheese and toppings of your choice onto dough and bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees until brown. If you’re using ingredients like tomatoes, it’s best to bake the pizza at the bottom of the oven until it is ¾ ready, sprinkle the cheese over the top, and finish baking at the top of the oven.

How to Make a Chocolate Cake

A simple chocolate cake recipe that will take just a few minutes and doesn’t require a mixer.

 

Ingredients for 26 cm. diameter cake:

1 ½ cups of flour

½ cup of cocoa

1 bag of baking powder

1 tablespoon drinking soda

½ cup of sugar

200 gram soft butter

½ cup of milk

½ cup strong coffee

2 eggs

1 spoon vanilla extract

¼ cup coconut powder for covering the bottom of the pan

 

Recipe:

 

1.      Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees. Oil up the pan and cover it with coconut powder.

2.      In a bowl, mix flour with baking powder, the soda and the sugar and the vanilla extract.

3.      Add the butter and mix well.

4.      Add the milk and the coffee slowly and mix until you get a uniform mixture.

5.      Pour the mixture into the baking pan, place it into the oven and lower the temperature to 170 degrees.

6.      Bake for half an hour or till you can place a toothpick into the cake and it comes out clean.

How to Make a Chocolate Truffles for Kids and Grownups

Ingredients: (25 truffles)

 

250g biscuits “Petty Bar”

100g butter

90 g (1/2 cup) sugar
1.5 tablespoon brandy
3.5 tablespoons of cocoa

⅔ cup of milk
½ cup candy hazelnuts
Coconut decoration

 

Recipe instructions:

 

1.      Place the biscuit crumbs in food processor

2.      Melt the butter in a large bowl in a microwave

3.      Add sugar, brandy, cocoa and milk to the bowl with and mix till you have a uniform texture.

4.      Add the broken/ground biscuits to the mixture and mix till you have a uniform mass.

5.      Make chocolate truffles using your hands, and dip into a bowl with cocoa. Refrigerate till a few minutes prior to serving.
