World's best Lasagna rolls recipe
5 ¼ oz butter
3 ½ cups spinach
4 cloves minced garlic Lasagna pasta
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
16 oz cottage cheese
½ cup grated mozzarella
Extra mozzarella to bake on top
Preheat the oven to 400F.
In a pan over medium heat, melt 3.5 oz of butter. Add in the spinach and season with salt, nutmeg, and minced garlic. Mix and cook to desired doneness.
Transfer the spinach into a strainer and set aside.
Boil water and cook lasagna pasta for recommended time until al dente.
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt 1.75 oz of butter. Add in 3 cloves of minced garlic and 1 can of crushed tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper, thyme, and basil. Stir and allow to cook.
In a mixing bowl, make a cheese filling by combining cottage cheese, 1 egg, the cooked spinach, salt, pepper,and ½ cup mozzarella.
Lay each lasagna noodle down and top with an even layer of the cheese filling. Roll the pasta and lay seam side down in an oven safe casserole dish.
Top the stuffed lasagnas with sauce and cheese. Bake for about 15 minutes.
