Chicken Shawarma Recipe


4 chicken thighs

1 tsp allspice

1 tsp black pepper

3 tsp cumin

3 tsp turmeric

1 tsp baharaat

1 tsp salt

1 onion, sliced

Olive oil

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Wash and dry each chicken thigh. Cut them into thin strips and place into a mixing bowl.

  2. Season the chicken with allspice, pepper, cumin, turmeric, baharaat, and salt. Mix well.

  3. Over medium high heat, saute the onion in olive oil until light brown. Add the chicken to the pan and cook all the way through, about 8-10 minutes.
